Young Gulch – Number 3 – CATS Rock Work

June 22 @ 8:00 am - June 23 @ 5:00 pm MDT

Free

New updates and things. This weekend is a dual event for CATers and others. Here is what is happening. You can go deep into the middle at the field camp and stay there all weekend with others or hike in about 2- 2.5 miles to work on two creek crossings that need extensive rock work. CATS members will have to hike in our tools for the day. We can stash – but must hike them out on Sunday evening. We have a group of JAX employees that will be helping us on Sunday (10 or so). We can use some CATS Crew Leaders here and any new folks that want to lead a crew – this is a good opportunity. More details as we get close. You would pick up your crew on Sunday – so you know the routine – meet and greet/safety talk/safety net system/tool talk and more. I need to know who is up for crew leading – send email.

Only bad thing is that there is Poison Ivy all in the area….we are working on that too….wear clothing to protect and ensure you wash everything within 24 hours after the event. Keep gloves on and limit touching your face or exposed skin…

We have other things to do also – so don’t be scared off on that….let me know your situation…
